In short, a man and his son were turned away from a public swimming pool in Hackney due to them not being muslim. The member of staff insisted the session was for muslim men only. Boredluton is a bored muslim who lives in a skanky block of flats very close to the centre of Luton. The news article expresses concerns about a recently acknowledged phenomenon. Disabled Asian people are being kept indoors due to their families being obsessed with what their communities think of them and, if they do venture outside, are beaten. Asians believe disabled relatives bring shame on the family.

It had registered with me that, despite the Asian population producing a disproportionately high number of babies with disabilities due to marriages between cousins, you never see an Asian disabled or handicapped person in the street.

What a horrific thought that such a large number of people could be imprisoned against their will in Great Britain where human rights are meant to be so highly prised. What a contradiction and what a parallel society has evolved.

Another contradiction is the fact muslims claim to be such charitable people. So charitable in fact that part of their earnings must be given to charity. The fact those charities often or always seem to be to do with aiding war torn muslim areas had also registered with me.

A search at Muslim Charities http://www.muslimcharities.com/search.php does not bring up anything in responce to 'disabled', 'disability' or 'handicapped'. A quick look through the list of charities also seems less to do with people in need in muslim homes in the UK than to do with far away war torn places. Kashmir is always a charitable muslim cause.

Dear Britney, as you suggested, I put the following words in the Islamic charity search engine: blind, deaf, disabled, children, cancer. There was not one charity for any of these! My son goes from door to door trying to sign people up to give regularly to Scope - he says most people are friendly, including Sikhs and Hindus, but Muslims just say "NO!" at the first opportunity. I've been looking into the Lisbon Treaty death penalty clause and found out about the ECHR Protocol 6. Here it is...

It only states that the death penalty is permitted 'in times of war'. Is the document I found valid? If so, that would suggest the Lisbon Treaty has done more than incorporate the provisions of the ECHR.

I could understand the need to shoot dead a soldier, in times of war, who was leaking information to the enemy or in some way putting the lives of fellow soldiers at risk. However, killing someone so you can arrest them, if they resist arrest, to quell a riot or to avoid civil upheavel are completely different things. These provisions are aimed at controlling the indigenous population and not an invading one.

I'll wait to see what conclusions your solicitors come to.

LORDS' BLOG

Maybe it's an oversight or maybe they are pondering over the death penalty issue. Maybe they are checking the validity of it as they were previously unaware of the Lisbon Treaty footnote. I do hope it is not due to them not wanting people to know. That would be worrying.

The Lisbon treaty gives full legal powers to the European Charter of Fundamental Rights. And contained within this document are the relevent passages:

Article 2 states:

1. Everyone has the right to life.

2. No one shall be condemned to the death penalty, or executed.

The paragraphs of interest are the footnotes to this seemingly clear statement:

(a) Article 2(2) of the ECHR:‘Deprivation of life shall not be regarded as inflicted in contravention of this Article when it results from the use of force which is no more than absolutely necessary:(a) in defence of any person from unlawful violence;(b) in order to effect a lawful arrest or to prevent the escape of a person lawfully detained;(c) in action lawfully taken for the purpose of quelling a riot or insurrection.’

(b) Article 2 of Protocol No 6 to the ECHR:‘A State may make provision in its law for the death penalty in respect of acts committed in time of war or of imminent threat of war; such penalty shall be applied only in the instances laid down in the law and in accordance with its provisions…’

Insurrection definition: an act or instance of revolting against civil authority or an established government.

Could a peaceful demonstration which got out of hand due to heavy handed policing be described as an insurrection?

This would suggest a person could be executed in order for him to be arrested. If a demonstrator managed to escape the clutch of a policeman, it would also justify his death.

We are at war now and at any one time we are threatened with imminent war. Does this mean the death penalty could be carried out pretty much anytime? I think a court of law would rule it did.

Ask a layman in which circumstances would he feel the death penalty could be used for the benefit of society and he would probably say in ridding society of paedophiles and terrorists. It is most troubling that civil unrest is the EU's most worrisome circumstance. Is that because they anticipate civil unrest?

IMPORTANT: This information was hidden in a footnote to a footnote. What other massive changes to our way of life have been hidden from view of the average MP or Lord who is too busy or trusting to look at the small print?

Pride is a great thing unless it results in you losing everything you've got and rendering you and your offspring homeless. That is why I am now asking for help, if help is available. I've suddenly been faced with a very serious and urgent financial liability and need to find £1000 in the next few days. If there is someone out there who can help, who has shed loads of money, and who hasn't helped me out before, maybe they could see me as a worthy cause. We can say we believe civil war will erupt, project that muslims will come off worse, express hope or belief in Christian Europe ruling forever. THE HAGUE, 08/04/08 - MP Geert Wilders does not incite to hatred or violence against Muslims. His comparison of Islam with Fascism is permissible, a district court in The Hague ruled yesterday.

The Netherlands Islamic Federation (NIF) had put forward a number of statements by the Party for Freedom (PVV) leader in a summary injunction. The NIF considered that Wilders had broken the law by comparing Islam with Fascism, calling the Koran the Islamic version of Hitler's Mein Kampf and the Prophet Mohammed a barbarian. All remarks are legal, the court decided yesterday.

The foundation demanded that Wilders take back his statements. But the court said: "A parliamentarian must be able to put forward his views." And "the right of freedom of speech is decisive here."

Wilders does not have to make a correction. This would according to the court be the same as a forced apology and therefore at odds with the principle of freedom of speech. "Regret cannot be forced with a verdict," according to the ruling.

According to the court, Fascism must be viewed more broadly than the NIF does. The federation of Turkish Muslims associates the term with "malignancies of Nazi Germany" such as the Holocaust. But the court said Fascism is a "collective term for ideologies with principles that embrace a totalitarian political system that leaves no room for dissenters."

NIF did not disprove that ideas are prevalent in Islam that are at odds with democratic principles. The group also did not succeed, according to the judge, in refuting Wilders' view of Mohammed being a barbarian.

Given this result, we would expect to never again hear a Western politician claim Islam is a religion of peace. What proof do the idiots need if not this?

Boredluton has refused to answer my final question. That is most likely due to the fact he cannot answer it as if he did he would lower himself to the level of the average infidel; someone who has sex with people before marriage.

My next question would have been...

Of course, he wouldn't have admitted to either of those possibilities as where would his argument about Western debauchery stand? 'I FELT SO OFFENDED'

I do hope Geert's body guards are good as he's going to be a serious target for the rest of his life. A Youtube video, which shows the intent of one of Holland's muslim residents, called 'Islam is Peace - Geert Wilders', was made by a twenty-seven year old going by the name 'pimpmaroc'. It might surprise you to learn that Pimpmaroc, who lives in Holland, is clearly gay. Despite that fact, he would clearly love to shoot bullets all over Geert Wilders for insulting Islam.

If Geert's recital of Koranic texts alongside corresponding Islamically motivated acts of violence can generate a murderous intent in a young gay muslim living in Holland, what hope has Geert got of not becoming the next Theo van Gogh? What hope has Holland got of not becoming the next Kosovo? What hope has Europe got of not becoming the next Middle East?

LOBBY THE LORDS FOR LISBON!

Please go to http://www.lordsoftheblog.net/ and beg the Lords, from the House of Lords, to vote for a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty.

In response to Britney British, the Second Reading of European Union (Amendment) Bill - on the Lisbon Treaty - takes place next Tuesday (1 April). More than sixty peers will be speaking. You may like to follow the debate.I might add, though, that I have had very few letters on the Lisbon Treaty and the issue of a referendum.

That means he's not aware of any public sentiments either way and would most likely believe the general public are not in need of a referendum.

I think I'm almost done with this blog. If this referendum does not happen, I think I'll throw the towel in like most other people. It's not that I'd give up hope on the issue; I'd give lose faith in the people.

THE CARTOON CRUSADE

Someone has suggested this title for our monthly cartoon competition and I'm happy to change it. I'd like to clarify why the West loves to use cartoons to get across a message because, no doubt, there will be muslims on here who think it's just to offend. People in the West, who can trace their roots back several generations, use humour for many reasons, one being to try to get another person or group of people to lighten up, shed the facade and laugh at themselves with the hope they will stop what it is they are doing.


It's our way of making demands. We prefer to give groups of people the opportunity to take it on the chin in a metaphorical way, rather than a physical way, in order to see themselves in a more honest and realistic light. We find it kinder than saying it straight out and simply hope the butts of the joke will say, 'Yes, very funny. I see your point'. Unfortunately, the West is now dealing with a group of people who do not get it and who never use humour to generate a response but just use political agitating, suicide bombing and demonstrations. Maybe our humour will rub off on them one day. Is it possible?
